Smithfield YW

I love serving in YW! I am the second counselor and love serving with Sis. Fountain, Sis. Earnshaw, Sis. Harvey, and Sis. Field. Our meetings are a lot of fun and we all really love the girls. Our group is small, but they are awesome! These are just a few pictures from a day when we picked up our newest beehive and brought  her to a birthday breakfast at the Fountain's house!

If my memory serves me correctly, we ate at Captain D's and then went to krispy kreme! Love these fun days and the kids creative last minute costumes!

Playdough fun

Katherine has been into playdough lately, so we watched some you-tube tutorials to up our playdough game.  I would say this made us much better! Very fun!

I love it when teachers send pictures! Katherine and her friends give a thumbs up. Her class had 8 girls and 2 boys. Asher isn't in this picture. They went on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Victoria cheered at an away game in Williamsburg and had quite the cheering section! Thanks to Geemaw, Papa, TJ, Ashley, Teagan, and Orion for coming! I love watching Victoria cheer! She is so full of spirit!

Katherine's visit and 1st Day of Preschool at Smithfield Baptist

The sun was a little bright and my sweet girl was  slightly nervous,

 but Katherine was happy when she went into her new classroom! She met Mrs. Kimmel, looked around the room, found her spot at the table, played babies and even met a couple kids who would be in her class!

 Maybe Kate wasn't nervous, maybe she just hated pictures. Maybe she just didn't want to be late. Not sure, but here are a few pics of her on 1st day.

 She was perfectly happy to go right in and play with play dough. She loves playdough!

She made some new friends and enjoyed her day, but one of the best things about preschool was seeing Eve there! They are such good friends! It sure is nice to have these cousins so closeby. I don't know if the blog will reflect this, but it was super fun to be able to play with Lorel, Eve, and Liam a lot of days after preschool!

Grant's 8th birthday (part 3)

Busy day! Grant was happy to open and try on  his gift from his grandparents- scout clothes, book, and accessories!

What a special day for Grant! We were really proud of Grant and his decision to be baptized. It was really nice that so many friends and family members could be there to celebrate with him. I would like to find and add some additional pictures and information to share. We saved his program in his journal, so I want to add that information. I am currently catching up a couple years later and my memory is failing me a bit. I remember that Grant asked Victoria and I to sing and we did.
