Grant tried baseball this spring season. He is on the Scrappers. Even though he is brand new, he is doing a good job and we are enjoying watching him. Go Grant!

Fancy Date Night
We went to a Gala that Danny needed to attend for work. It was a nice dinner and auction and we had fun. We felt slightly overdressed for our Walmart errand on the way home.

My days with Katherine
Katherine and I love our days together. Some of our favorite activities include going to a museum or the mall. Here are a few examples from the Virginia Living Museum and MacArthur Mall.

You are all that and a bag of chips!
The PTA Hospitality gave the Westside teachers and staff a bag of chips for "National chip day. " So we rolled with that, I bought and made a few more and we had them for a snack after YW's share a talent night.
Victoria showed some hair techniques, but I forgot to get a pic of that.
Eva taught how to do a fish tail.
Aliyah taught how to back chocolate chip cookies.
Chloe taught how to draw a cube and a unicorn.
Aaliyah LaRue taught how to pitch a softball.
Jade taught us about reading music.
These girls are amazing and I enjoy learning from them!

Random March Happenings
Katherine is a great builder! She has a good sense when it comes to putting things like legos, or in this case, tinker toys, together.
We were heart attacked by the sister missionaries! So sweet!
We made shamrock shakes for YW one night and talked about this quote.
We still use nebulizers a lot in our house. This was the most serious selfie I have ever seen these two take.
And Kate went to Rita's for her free birthday treat!

Grand Lunch
Carrollton did a Grand Lunch in conjuction with the book fair each year. Brilliant idea, by the way! Sales double or triple that day. Anyway, over the 5 years living in Carollton we alternated which grandparents to invite. It was always fun when they came to visit for lunch at school. They typically brought a special lunch and bought the child a book. This was a special day for Grant and I happened to be volunteering at the book fair that day, so I snagged a quick pic.
Dirty Thirty
We had a surprise "Dirty Thirty" Party for Kassidy for her 30th- dirty Doctor Peppers, dirt cake, and other junk food. It was really fun with Lindsey, Erin, Lorel, Victoria, and Lauren. We watched the Bachelor. Fun times! As I write this, I really miss these friends!
