 We had fun going to church at the Kilmarnock branch. V was especially glad to see Danielle and JT.

Last Day of School

So ready to pick up these kids!!!! We love summer!!!

Mixed feelings about being done with the school year?

Look who else we saw at the end of the day?

And guess what?! We started summer with this fun obstacle inflatable! It was set up at the high school still, so we played on it with some of the teachers and their kids! So fun!

Field trip to Lenn Park

I loved seeing Grant and his friends play and enjoy the various stations at this field trip. They played on the playground, read a book and colored, played a math relay, went on a nature walk, and had a picnic. I was glad to be in on the fun!

3rd Grade Awards and a special day with Grant

Grant raked in the awards at this assembly! My pictures stink, but his awards did not. He got pretty much every award possible. Attendance, All A's all year, art student of the month, and more(I can't even remember). It was downright crazy, but he puts forth great effort and is pretty competitive, so I wasn't too surprised.  Way to go, G-man!

He and I enjoyed some one on one time at Yowell Meadow Mark afterward.

Kindergarten Awards and Special time with K

I was excited to go to the Kindergarten Awards Assembly to see Kate. She had a great kindergarten year and I was very pleased with her effort and attitude! She loves school, does her best, and is kind!

Katherine and her friend, Ace, were the Star Stallions of the Year for her class!

We loved hearing them sing  and dance in their classroom afterward.

We LOVE Mrs. Wensel and are so appreciative of her giving Katherine such a great start to her school years!

After the programs, Katherine got out early and we had a great time at Mountain Run Lake!

I love this girl and am looking forward to a fun summer with her!
