Katherine has had a lot of softball practice this summer! The All-star team won districts and regionals and made it to the state tournament!
They had a lot of tough competition at states.
Katherine, one of the youngest and newest players, understandably didn't get much playing time. However, it was super cool to be part of the team, to work hard and improve, and to have a cool few days away!

We had some down time between games and went to the library and stores on the main street,
to a farmers' market,
and to some cool antique stores.
She learned how to use an old rotary phone.
She and the girls had fun in the hotel.
Our room was the party place after their last game. We played lots of games.
It was a fun, but exhausting weekend! Katherine and I really enjoyed the time away together.
Kate got the slurpie on 7/11 this year!

Eve and Isaac came to visit for a couple nights. We hit Rockwater Park.
Charcuterie boards have been really in lately. I tried it out and am "on board."
We did a mall scavenger hunt. V watched the girls and I took the boys! Fun times!
We went to Chile's Orchard to pick peaches!
They were delicious!

The boys had a super fun time at YM camp. Danny helped plan it and I think his and the other leaders' efforts paid off. They had a great time!
