Kylee's signing! Kylee is an awesome student at CCHS and has been one of Katherine's softball coaches. She signed on with Hampton University softball. We are so proud of her!

Unfortunately, Christian and Mia and her brother were in an accident on the way home from school. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Unfortunately, Christian's car was considered totalled because the engine was pushed back. Fortunately, the other driver was at fault, so their insurance paid for a new car for C. Another fortunate thing, is that I happened to drive by less than a minute after it happened. I got there before the police did or before they could call or anything! I was able to pull into a nearby parking lot and get over to hug those kids almost immediately. They were all pretty shocked and shaken up, so it felt like a tender mercy that I could be there so quickly and that I felt so calm.
I did my best to make things better by having them pose for a funny picture and them taking them to the nearest 7-11 for snacks and drinks before taking everyone home.
It was a stressful way to end an otherwise good first day. It is also a tricky time to try to find a new car as Danny is just starting the school year and his job is bananas. We did our best.
We went to the local parade and fair and had a good time. Grant and Micah hung out together and Danny and Kate and I did our own thing too.
I went to visit my mom for her birthday and we had a good time. Actually, we thought we were downright hilarious planning a prank/joke for Victoria's birthday. (Long story, but it didn't turn out the way that we had hoped because her plans for her birthday changed.) Nevertheless, check out our funny spy pics!

The 14th was the DC temple rededication! We were all able to go at our ward building. Even Katherine was able to get a limited use recommend just for this. Pretty neat!
Also, fun story, but no picture. My friend Kristie Barnhurst and I discovered that I knew her sister Kamie and her family. Danny and I were in the same ward with them in Provo when we were newlyweds. We taught their daughter in Sunbeams! It was just such a funny thing. She said, "My sister, Kamie" And I thought, 'Wait, I know a Kamie' It was her! Such a small world, right?! I love it!
V's real 19th birthday was in NYC with some friends! She had a super fun last minute trip with Alex, Camila O. and some of the sales guys, Carter, Devon, and Zeke
V shares a birthday, with Levi! Levi invited Grant and Levi B. to come to his party! Katherine and I came too and had such a fun time!

Also, Jeff is the best friend! I have speculated and told V recently, "You will probably know when a man is the one for you by the way he celebrates your birthday." Until then, be thankful for Jeff because he is amazing! (Is that marriage at 30 pact still on?)
Also, Christian auditioned for and was cast in this years VHSL one act play. He will be Austin in The Other Room. They had their first read through. I told Mrs. Mitchell recently that I am so happy that she posts so much on the theater page because I get so many of my pics of C there.
Although I got this off of one of his stories. Mia took it and it looks so cool!
Now, I need something like that for G and Danny and we will be set.
