Art on display!!!!

This was cool. Last Sunday we were able to go to an art museum downtown(in Farmville). Local schools had some of their best work on display there. Victoria's class helped create a huge Egyptian scene that was there on display. They have a great art teacher! We were invited to a special party in honor of these great artists. It was really nice! Victoria felt very please with herself and with her classmates. She worked on the Egyptian man. Specifically she paper mache' ed his head and helped paint it. Here are a few pictures of her with the masterpiece. I was super impressed with the work that the 1st graders did. Her friend Analee was there too and also worked on him!




Oh, and I had to include this one of the kids picking dandelions on the way out! I thought it was just adorable! Such joy and excitement picking flowers!
