Apple Picking

We love apple picking in the fall. Last year we went on Columbus Day.This year too! The kids called it "family fun day." We do those from time to time, but usually announce the day as such. So, when they call it that, we know it is a great memory building day!  Just a few pics from Carter Mountain.

 

Oh, and not at Carter Mountain, but on the way to and from Charlottesville, is a little store/restaurant/motel that has a chicken out front. Every time that we pass it we say we want to take a picture with the chicken, so this time we finally did!
