Trick or Treating!

Christian stayed home to "pass out candy" this year. Victoria went to the Bowler's house to watch a scary movie with a bunch of teenagers, and Danny and I decided to take Grant and Katherine trick or treating in the Bowler's neighborhood since we were already there and would need to pick her back up soon.

We met up with Angie Bowler and a big group of kids, but part of the group split off. Aletha Hibbert and Justice Cruzan were super kind to let our kids continue with them. Their costumes were so cute too.  Danny and I had fun talking to the Bowlers and a few other parents when we got back to the house and the movie was still going. 

Everyone had a fun night.

Apparently Grant got a lot of candy and had fun playing catch inside a ring of candy that he sorted.

Monacan's 20th Year Class Reunion Weekend

I have been looking forward to this reunion weekend for quite a while! 

A small group of us (and several kids and spouses not pictured) went on a tour of the school! It was so fun to see them and to see the school and to see what things were the same and what was different

Monacan has a nice new gym!

V came with me to Chesterfield for the school tour. It was supposed to be a football game too, but the game was postponed. 

V and I went to a Mexican Restaurant with Paige and her kids after the tour. That was so fun too! So glad she came in to town! Paige, why did we not take a picture?!

The next day Danny and the other kids met V and I at a picnic for families at the park. There, we had more time to talk. Mainly, I talked to classmate friends who came while the kids and Danny played on the playground and talked to other spouses and kids.

That night, Danny and I went to the actual reunion. The kids spent the evening with my parents and had fun eating awesome Halloween cookies from grandma, playing trouble, and muscles even before we left. I am sure they had a blast while we were away too.

We spent a lot of the evening with Andrea and Bunty! We love them!

Unfortunately most of the class was not there, but the group who came was really awesome! I  loved high school and loved my classmates. It was a time in life when I was enthusiastically involved in sports, clubs, and activities. I felt like I pretty much knew everyone there in one way or another, which was super fun! It was really cool to see what everyone was up to! I wish we could do this more often!

They did an awesome job! They seriously got better at every competition!

Victoria did a great job- she has such great spirit!  I didn't get any pictures of the routine but loved the dance party afterward just as much!

Tri-M Music Honor Society

V was inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society. The ones holding the certificates are the new inductees. Congratulations!

Jack O lanterns

Grant and Danny carved this pumpkin. We did things in a weird way this year because V, C, and Katherine carved thiers at the combined YW/YM activity earlier in the week. It was really fun, but they didn't want to do another with the family. It wouldn't be fair for Grant to miss out on the tradition and I, so Danny and Grant did a nice job with this one! Spooky!

Kid pics

Victoria wanted to go take pictures of all of the kids one Sunday afternoon. Apparently they all had a fantastic time taking pics together with the tripod. They were gone for about an hour and they all came back happy! Nice job, V and whoever took the pics of her! I love these!
