I went hiking with these awesome girls!
Love spending time in nature with them!
Interesting looks!
Star Stallion!
Hard-working man!
Funny dress-ups and skits
I took a wild trip to CO to meet up with Paige who wanted help driving a car from UT to GA in 2 days.
I sat next to a man on the flight there that I feel I was meant to sit next to. He was flying out to see his brother who was very sick and while people were boarding, he found out that he died. He wasn't able to talk to anyone in his family yet, so I was very glad to be able to listen to him and be there for him as he processed.
Matt and Janelle picked me up from the airport and we were able to hang out for a few hours! It was really fun to see them. We went to lunch at a place called Torchy's Tacos. Then, we wandered Target for a little bit. We still had about an hour until Paige would be driving through to pick me up so we went to Bass Pro shops and had a lot of fun there.
Matt was looking through the fishing things so Janelle and I had fun looking at the different flies too. We found several that we recognized from the Go fish game at the river house!
Marshall side, can you guess which one we found? Haha! I'll give you a hint. It includes a bad word.
While we were there, a lady was taking tons of weird sexy pictures, so Matt followed her lead. Haha!
We slept at a nice hotel and had breakfast there before taking off again.
We drove,
and drove,
and drove!
We had fun talking and just being together. We wished we had time to stop for fun, but we didn't so we had to create our own.
Cool gas station for the win!
The arrival time on the GPS kept getting later and later and we just hoped to be able to make it before the kids had to go to seminary. We also hoped for a little rest.
We made it! Paige and Miguel were able to surprise David with the car and I got to film it!
He was pretty excited and even took it for a spin in the middle of the night!
We slept for about 2 hours at Paige's. Then, I hung out in the airport in HiltonHead for most of the day because Paige had to go to work and needed to drop me off before she went. I don't mind airports and traveling, so it was a good day.
Pretty dang tired, but glad that I could help!
Grant made the wrestling team again this year!
We had a girls night for the new Red Album
Sing along too!
I love it every time I see it!
These kids are awesome actors!
They won 1st place at Super Regionals!
Grant's team won the Championship Game!
After another game in Charlottesville- tired!
Little traditions matter- we play pooh sticks on bridges still.
I loved Katherine's outfit today. She loves to be comfortable and doesn't usually worry too much about if it matches, so it is really cool when it does!
V and I had our friend, Anne, come hang out with us one Monday. Games and cookie baking were so fun!
We went to an awesome "Friendsgiving" in Farmville at Jenn's house! I loved seeing everyone!
And of course, we celebrated Thanksgiving at Grandma's house!
She did not disappoint!
We made a poster and cards for Donovan. We weren't allowed to send gifts. Cards only.
This two are still the greatest of buddies!
And these two too!
Good desserts!
The adults love Donovan too! We wish Matt's whole family could live closer and be with us for holidays!
Katherine went to Craig and Lorel's house for a couple days and Isaac came here. Lorel sent these cute pictures from Fort Monroe and their house. How can Eve and Kate sleep with their heads touching?!
Isaac and Grant spent most of their time hunting(trying to hunt) with Danny. They seemed to enjoy it.
I spent some time working on this puzzle. I wanted to complete it before "gingerbread day" and I did.
It is a favorite tradition. We have combined it with Thanksgiving lately and that seems to work well!
Nice work, ladies.
They looked good!
This boy is so loved.
Victoria drove separately. She spent the night before helping Geemaw prep the houses. Afterward she went on a date with JT. They went ice skating and had a good time. Even though they broke up and hadn't had contact for months, they are still good friends. She is proud of him for getting ready to go on a mission.
I haven't had a calling for a few months, but recently I was asked to fill in in whatever way was needed in primary while the primary president had a major surgery. I enjoy being in there. This is a picture that we took with a poster for her. I enjoyed dropping it off with some flowers too.
Grant's time in chess club last year paid off. It was a close game, but... he beat me.
Victoria is getting a little experience with cutting boys’ hair. She works at a salon that serves almost exclusively women, so she hasn't had too much experience. The boys and missionaries have been her guinea pigs.
Thanks, Jack and Pete, for letting her try! I forgot to get the afters.
