Wrestling Match Coin Flip with Captains
I recorded the matches and need to get still shots out.
After the match, I was proud of Grant for being the first to start to clean up. I like that he is a contributor and a leader.
My aunt Susie posted this cool picture of my grandpa and his sister and another with his mother from their passports when they came to the US from Scotland. I enjoyed seeing them!
I love that Victoria is a woman who plans and works to create the life that she wants. She sets and achieves her spiritual goals, financial goals, and physical goals. She works hard every day and works out daily too. I am glad that V has been more intentional with social goals this year. She has gone on a lot of fun dates lately and has been able to spend more time with friends.
Christian with Caleb and Matthew
Katherine and I entered just in time to see the end of Christian's race. The meet was going at the same time as pick up. Sometimes things get busy and we do the best we can. The exciting thing is that we got to see and talk to him as soon as he came off the track and he knew that we tried our best and love him and want to be there.
Because we were at EV, Dawson stopped by on the way back from his baseball conditioning too.
Aren't they a cute couple?!
Christian and his E-squared class are still doing cool things- field trip!
Saturday wrestling tournament in Orange. G money with the pin.
We were able to see both boys in their sports on Saturday, just a little back and forth, but Grant was at Orange High School and Christian was at Woodberry Forest. Both fun events.
We watched the Super Bowl here this year. Here's V copying the stinky leg celebration dance.
Kattia and V and Megan crack each other up!
All the girls! We missed Camila!
V got a pr package from a company that she loves, Called to Surf! Isn't that cool? She isn't an "influencer", but she lives in an area that they wanted to target and a lot of people see her posts.
Last year of elementary school Valentines from Katherine
Treats/gifts from Mom and Dad. Everyone got something from the Nike store this year.
Treats from Grandma for the boys (She gave the girls sweatshirts at Galentine's Day)
My boys had everything ready for their girlfriends the night before. (C bought and combined two bouquets for Mia. Just wanted to clarify that one didn't have two girlfriends.) So sweet!
This was a cool bridge that Katherine and her partner, Faith, researched, designed, and built! Their bridge held the most weight and won their competition!
One Saturday morning, Katherine, and Christian, and I were able to see Hailey's show choir competition on tv! They were excellent and we loved supporting her from afar.
I love it when I get cool artwork from students at work!
One week I was able to help with a multi-stake prom that our stake hosted. Nicole Hebertson spearheaded the project and had a great committee. It took many hours and many volunteers to make it work! It looked amazing! I had fun helping decorate a couple times that week and loved popping by after Christian's play (see Rock of Ages post) to see the youth enjoying it!
I got to go to Fall Hill Ward to hear Daniela's homecoming talk after her mission. This is a fun picture because it is Julie's daughter, Alex, Gabriela's daughter, Daniela, and V all together! I love these girls and especially their moms. We work well together and put a lot of time, effort, and love into our callings. We need a presidency picture! I will try to get a few in the next few years! (Do you think we will really serve for about 5 years?! We will see!)
Sometimes we have a slew of missionaries over for dinner and haircuts! We love it! Danny cut the Elders' hair that night. This picture was before the haircuts though. The YSA sisters left right after dinner.
V and Alex had fun going to the Carrie Underwood concert.
It was a full and satisfying month!
