Nicole's Baby Shower
It was fun to work with a few friends to throw a baby shower for our friend, Nicole! I don't know Nicole super well yet, but she is someone who has been very kind and welcoming since we moved here. She is a great mother and I admire the things that she does for her children. This baby will be very blessed to have her for a mom. Nicole actually took these pics at the shower and I was so glad that she shared them, because even though the shower was here, I didn't get any pictures. It was a beautiful shower with really good food. Thanks, Abby, Krista, Marilyn, and Lisa, for doing it with me! These ladies are really good at parties and several of them work together to plan our RS activities, which have been really great in this ward.

Love My Teen
I like having a little extra time in the car with C this year. He is a great kid! I don't know why teens get such a bad rap sometimes. I think they are awesome!

Baseball, Cheer Competition, and Homecoming Dance Pics
Grant has such a pretty natural swing!
Grant typically plays first or short stop but from time to time he pitches. He feels the pressure when he pitches, but he does a good job.
Blue Devils competed in another competition, this time at Brentsville.
They did a great job, but were ready to head out after they performed to go get ready for Homecoming!
V and Emily got ready together. V did their hair and Em did their makeup. They make a good team. They both looked beautiful! I loved V's cute dress and shoes!
We met up with about 10 other friends for pictures. A few of them went as dates, but again V did not. I know that she is looking forward to hopefully going with a date next year when she is 16! It was really fun to see them having such a great time together and talking to the parents too. Really fun group! They went to a hibachi dinner as a huge group and then to the dance.

Homecoming Week and Game
A friend sent this picture of Danny with some students, mainly the girls volleyball team.
I love how much he loves his students and the school. He is wearing a Hawaiian shirt for one of the spirit days.
The Varsity cheerleaders wore football jerseys the day of the homecoming game. They had to not talk and if someone got them to talk, they got to take their megaphone. If I remember correctly Tinly got her sometime after lunch and before the pep rally.
This is a pic from the pep rally- fun times!
Victoria and Joseph Holland both wearing his jerseys!
Homecoming parade was fun! So was the game!
Katherine and her friend, Lily, from her cheer squad, had fun cheering in front of the big girls.

Little Fisherman
Grant woke up really early one Saturday morning and wanted to go fishing. Danny, our earliest riser, said yes. What a good dad! What a good fisherman!

Cheer, baseball, and Conference
Back to cheer- 1/2 game!
Grant at bat! Go, Grant-man!
Conference time!
I think it is really cute how Katherine sometimes snuggles right up to Christian. She sure loves her big brother.

CC and Cheer
Go Blue Devils!
Go Christian!
Working hard!
Finishing strong!
Katherine collected acorns during the race.
She wasn't quite ready to cheer yet as she was still coughing and nebulizing every 3-4 hours and regaining strength and didn't have the doctor's go ahead. I thought it was cool that she wanted to go support the team though- even wearing her uncomfortable outfit and shoes! She also said the words to the cheers from her chair.
