Lukas

Quick pic of these friends before the Days moved.

I met the Eva when we first moved the Carrollton. They moved there the same week. People are always coming and going in this area! We saw each other at the school or at the YMCA from time to time, but really didn't know each other until we moved from one cul-de-sac to the other. The past year and a half the boys have played together a lot, especially Grant and Lukas. They loved playing imaginext, on the trampoline, or building forts out of boxes in Lukas's driveway. Christian and Lukas didn't get to know each other as well, but realized pretty close to the time that the Days moved that they had a lot in common. Eva and I had fun chatting at the bus stop and went on walks and to breakfast a few times too. They moved back to sunny Florida. I am happy for them because they will be near family.

Danny is a Hard Worker

I think people who know Danny know that he works hard and plays hard. He often isn't in our pictures because he is away working hard to support the family. He loves his career and always loves the students and staff at his schools. He is also a great student. He is working hard on his Phd and it is a lot to juggle. He doesn't always love it, and this was a picture of his response to me asking what he was up, but he does tend to keep things positive. I am proud of him!

Christian and Noah's Science Fair Project (But look at the awesome artwork!)

Poor Christian has a bad case of poison ivy in these pictures. He must have dropped his towel on mowed poison ivy on the field at field day because he got it on his hands, arms, face and neck- everywhere he dried himself with the towel. We felt bad for him it was pretty bad, even after a couple days, antihistamine, creams, etc.

He and Noah did an excellent job on their science experiment and on their display. They are both really good artists and often draw together. I hope there is a picture of this somewhere, but they drew together a lot at school and created a really long scroll of art. They taped a new notebook page on after they were out of space. I think it is about 20 pages long and is really great! If I find it I will write a new post or add it to this one.

Anyway, you can get a sampling of their creativity here.

And Micheal's project! Also artistically clever!
