Mother's Day Pampering

I have such wonderful kids! I was really spoiled on Mother's Day. They were so good to me! I often feel like a terrible mom, so they are so sweet to genuinely think otherwise. I really love my children and am thankful to be their mom.
a giant card from the kids
a special basket from V
New Zumba shoes from Danny and the kids
A cute card that Christian made at school
Katherine was adorable as always.
Victoria cleaned her room.
I was also showered with homemade cards and a special bag that the kids made at Primary!

My mom gave me some sweet flowers too!
Danny made a nice dinner for my mom and I. (My dad was in Salt Lake for some church stuff). I made a cheesecake. We were glad to share the day with her. She is a great mom and grandma and we love her so much! We love Danny's mom too and were able to spend time with her the day before.

Play ball!

Baseball season is underway and Christian is playing in the instructional league this year. Danny is an assistant coach again and they enjoy spending time together. Here are a few shots of Christian and also his biggest fans on the sideline.

the boys

I love these little boys!

Lacey

Victoria met a new friend this year. Lacey moved to Farmville during the school year and was in V's class. We later realized that she lived down the road. She is a really nice friend and we are glad to be neighbors. Unfortunately, they will be moving in another month. She will be missed.

preschool out for summer

Grant's last preschool day was at the Hamilton's house. They had a great year!

Gavin and Katherine were so well behaved for school too! A bunch of cute little friends.

homework or hairstyling?

Victoria was supposed to be doing the worksheet on the left. However, when I came up to her room I found this doll, a sink(bowl) full of conditioner, a brush, and a doll with a smock on. I think hairstyling won this round.

My favorite Mother's Day Card from Danny

I think this was from 2012.  I just found this picture and thought it was so funny. When we were newlyweds living in Provo, Danny was talking to me while he was dressing. He got caught in his pants and fell sideways. It was the funniest thing ever! I wish I had somehow caught it on video.

T party

Victoria invited me to a T party for activity day girls. T stood for talents, testimonies, temples, and terrific. It was a fun night and I was glad to see the things she has worked on this year. My favorite part was hearing Victoria share her testimony of Jesus Christ. Thanks for sharing V. You really have a strong testimony and desire to do good. You are also talented and terrific!

My birthday!

I had a great birthday this year! I had lunch with Maria and Jaclyn and Emma and Grant and Katherine. My friend Pam stopped by later in the day. I taught Zumba in the late afternoon. These are pics from right when I came home, so I am a little sweaty.Danny and the kids showered me with presents! A stuff sack for my sleeping bag from Katherine.
A new coat from Grant
a new mp3 player from Christian(Yeah for craigslist!)
and a coat from V(they were bogo).

Thanks Danny and kids! Then, we went to El Patron. I love Mexican food. Then we put the kids to bed and I had my Monday night out with my girlfriends. We watched Dancing with the stars at Jenn's house and they had sundaes for my birthday! So sweet!

Then, later in the week I got to celebrate with my mom. We went to Home Goods and I picked out cushions for the wicker on the porch. I love them. We also ate lunch at California Pizza Kitchen which was delicious.

Thanks family and friends for celebrating my birth. I am thankful to have you in my life.

Amused by the mermaid

Katherine loves this toy! Thanks, Leigh Frasier!

Smiley

Yes, this picture is blurry, but it shows Katherine laughing and I love it!

Let's pretend it's a rainy day!

We had a rain themed preschool here the other day. It was fun to wear raincoats and run around and jump in puddles.

The kids enjoyed umbrellas in their smoothies too.

We read some cool books and listened to music and played the sink or float game in the bathtub.
After preschool we went to the fountains at Longwood to play. More friends joined us! I suggested bringing raincoats to pretend it was raining. It was a lot of  fun and the college kids thought the preschoolers were so cute! They are.
