Reptiles Alive, Bowling, and Beautiful Surroundings

We have had a really good summer, but on the days when we stay home and don't have guests, we struggle to know what to do. Victoria had cheer conditioning throughout the summer, so she had something to do most days. We kept the house clean and made good food, did slip n slide  in the yard, played games, watched movies, etc. Next year we will probably need to join the pool though- we missed the water. We were glad when there were library programs. A couple times we went to Orange County's library programs too.

Another day we went bowling.

I sure am glad that I am able to be with these sweet fun kids!

I am also glad that we live in a beautiful place.

Wedding Reception and a Quinceanera

V and I had fun going to Megan Clubb's wedding reception. It was such a cool reception with awesome food and decorations.
V and Jeff, one of her best friends, with the Beautiful newlyweds

After the reception, I took them to a quinceanera for their friend, Kat. I was going to just drop them and run, but it was a huge thing with tons of people and food and they called me to say come in. I loved dancing there with a few friends from Culpeper and V and her friends too. Fun night!

Fredrickburg Stake Youth Conference 2018

Youth Conference was at JMU and was combined with the Waynesboro Stake. V had a great time being with her friends, making new friends, and learning more about the gospel. She really enjoyed her classes and leaders too.

Paige visits

Paige and kids came for a quick visit on Saturday night and spent the night and went to Sacrament meeting in the morning before heading home. Even a quick visit is really awesome! Thanks for making the visit! Love you guys!

Lorel and kids com

The kids created a play for the adults to enjoy. It was action packed and funny.

We went to the Old Country Store for ice cream

 We did some movie watching.
Danny watched the kids and Lorel and I had a chance to look through some of the cute shops downtown and eat at 309 Grill. That was really fun! Thanks, Danny. Thanks, Lorel and kids for coming!

Fan Fest 2018

We were given tickets o the Major League Baseball Allstar fanfest. We were really excited and made a family fun day out of it!
We got our own baseball cards, watched the hot dog eating competition, played lots of games, saw famous people, and had an overall good time.
Danny said, "We had a great time at the MLB All-star Fanfest! Thank you Michelle Marshall for the tickets. We made our own baseball cards, saw a hotdog eating contest with the world record holder (Joey Chesnut) played a VR home run derby, got face painting, saw former major leaguers (Kevin Millar & Cliff Floyd), saw Olympic gold medalists (Jenny Finch & Lisa Hernandez), and played other cool games. #crazysodfam"
