Father's Blessing and First Day of School 2013-2014

We are so lucky to have the Priesthood in our home. Danny gave the kids fathers blessings on the night before the first day of school.

It was Danny's 2nd year as principal at Windsor High School. He was ready and optimistic about a great year!

Victoria started 5th grade at Westside Elementary school. She is blessed to have two great teachers, Mrs. Pyrtle and Mrs. Collet! Isn't she so cute and stylish looking? I LOVE V's sense of style. Maybe one day she will be my stylist. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she cuts my hair and does my makeup in a few years. Seriously.

Christian is the entering his last year at Carrollton Elementary- a big 3rd grader in Mrs. Conley's class. We have heard that she is a great teacher too! We really seem to get lucky! He was ready to get to the bus stop!

This is Grant's last year staying home with Katherine and I!
And they are off!

V's bus stop. Tessa, Audrey, Josh, V, and Cadence. There is usually 1 more boy, Jaedon.
Christian's bus stop- A lot of kids! There are even about 9 or 10 younger siblings who were not in the picture!

On bus #109 with Ms. Basham again! She is a good bus driver. Kind and safe!
After they took off, Grant, Reggie, and Katherine had fun playing in Reggie's yard.

Later in the day, I received an e-mail with this picture of Victoria and Mrs. Perrara, our superintendent. Pretty cool!

Happy to report that everyone had a good first day!

V's 10th birthday and party

Kispy Kremes, Yankee Candle Co and Chick-fil-A with Grandma and Grandpa, presents, and an Owl themed late-over! What more could a girl want when she is turning double digits?! Fun birthday for V and a great day for the whole family! V is such a great kid! We sure are blessed to have her in our family!
