Indoor Track

Christian ran indoor track this year. He ran middle/ long distance races. He ran the 1000 and the 500 at most meets. He is doing well for a Freshman and has time to get faster. We love our boy and are proud of him for trying new things!

Mall Scavenger Hunt with the Williams

 I took G and K to Krispy Kreme for their report card donuts. Thanks, Krispy Kreme!

Then, we met up with our friends, the Williams, divided into two teams and did a scavenger hunt at the mall. I took Jack an Kate. We had fun and won! I think Abby, Grant, Pete and Levi had fun too! We all had fun chatting afterward.

we couldn't find any samples, so asked for mints at Chick-fil-a. 

They got back to the base first and felt pretty dang pleased!

Creative Kids

These two enjoy science experiments and slime making,

magic shows,

and all kinds of imaginative play!  I thought this train conductor on a rolling suitcase was adorable.

I am so glad that they are such good friends and that they still play.

Katherine Starts Ballet!

Her teacher is so sweet and wonderful!

Katherine LOVED it! I loved watching her and think she will be great!

Snow Day!

River House Winter Edition

I took G and K to the river towards the end of Christmas break. Lorel and her kids came too!

Ella, Grant, and Isaac went to explore the creek and swamp on their on for a bit. 

We all had a trip  to the island, even in January!

I thought it was pretty cold. Look at this little "Christmas Tree"

And then, there were the kids.... barefoot and running  through the water to the next island!

Adventurous kids!

Pampered kids. 

Tired kids. She fell asleep before we got to the main road!
