Water Country

We've had passes to Water Country as well as Busch Gardens the last few years and it has been a lot of fun! I don't typically bring my camera or pull out my phone, but we do love it! I was pretty impressed by Katherine being brave enough to do this one.

VA Living Museum Day

We needed to make the most of our passes before we moved! We love this place and there was a cool Lego Exhibit there that week too.

Girls Camp 2017

Victoria went to Girls Camp for the 3rd year! I wanted to go so badly, but with Danny already working at his new school in Culpeper, I needed to stay home and pack the house!

We had a tradition in the Smithfield Ward to meet in front of the Tropical Smoothie for camp. V and I love the "Avacolada" ("with half the sugar please").

Phones weren't allowed at camp, so the picture selection is sparse. Happy girls though! Love them!

V went to EFY with Quinn!

I took V, Quinn, and Jackson to EFY! We spent the night at my parents' farm house in Powhatan to help the drive not be so long and early. It was fun to hang out there and talk and play games.  The next morning, I dropped them off at the dorm. I can't believe that we will be doing this for college in 4 years! Afterward I drove a couple hours to meet up with Danny to look at houses in Culpeper.

House Hunting in Culpeper

The drive from Buena Vista to Culpeper was beautiful and made me feel more at peace about moving there. 

We looked at several houses, but nothing seemed quite right. We finally found one that I loved! Granted, the photography is amazing, but I really liked the house in person too. It felt just right. It is a little further from the school than we initially thought we wanted and a bit more than we wanted to spend, but we feel really good about it. 

Fun outing with Grant

Grant and I had a fantastic time at the Living Museum. He hadn't been to the dinosaur section yet, so we spent our time outside.

Art Camp

Katherine loved going to art camp with Paige and Grace!

Dress like a Cow Day, Fort Monroe, and 7-11

We have to work hard this summer to get our house ready to sell. It needs to be nearly perfectly clean within an hour, so we are keeping on top of laundry, dishes, trash, clutter and overall tidiness. We work hard in the mornings and get out and stay out (haha, I mean, we have fun all afternoon). Honestly though, we love having fun in the sun in the summer!

Boy Scout Camp Summer 2017

Christian really enjoys scout camp. He accomplishes a lot while he is there! Lots of Merit Badges! Christian went to Camp Atari this year. He had a great year and met a lot of new friends. He loved sailing! Danny was only there for 2 nights, but sure enjoyed his time with Christian. Maybe they would like to elaborate later. For now, here are a few cool pictures!
