Spring Break!
We went to DC for a day and brought Susie and Levi! It was fun! Danny and I hung with the girls and Grant and Levi did their thing. We met up for lunch and did some museums together.
Danny and Bobby took Grant and some of his fun baseball friends for a day at the Lake. I think being together and being in nature was good for them. Grant loves his teammates. Danny does too.
Katherine and I went to the river and met up with Lorel, Eve, and Liam. We had a fun time at Compass!
We had a fun time at some of cute stores in Kilmarnock too. If memory serves, we hit the popcorn store that we love so much and got some good flavors for a movie night. This was so sweet. Liam wanted to buy Katherine a necklace and did! So thoughtful!
Meanwhile, in Richmond, V and Syd had manicures.
Grant and Danny came!
Isaac too!
Lorel took some cool pics! Thanks for sharing!
Danny and I enjoyed some time on the water. Early April was a bit chilly still.
It felt good to get out on the water and enjoy nature.
It is always so pretty there! Thanks, Mom!
Something pretty exciting happened the first weekend of April! General Conference! And... V went to the Outer Banks with JT's family. While there..... they got engaged!!!! That is a separate post with lots of cool pics! We are so excited for them. It may seem super fast to a lot of people, but V explains it well here.
Another cool solar eclipse! Kate and I enjoyed it!
Geema and Papa came to see the kids play while they were playing on adjacent fields.
Also, we went to the temple with Victoria when she was endowed. It was a special night.
Grant is wearing himself out between seminary, school, practices, games, and homework.
Katherine is catching a lot this season and enjoying it. Danny is her coach again. They are the flying squirrels this season.
This Saturday we had a stake Service Activity. Several service projects fell through and we had to mix things up and I had fun putting together an alternate activity. It was a "Service is Sweet" themed activity.
Washer and dryer issues brought us here. Making it fun, though.
Victoria, Katherine, and I went dress shopping in NoVA. We had a lot of fun, but it was unfruitful. V found one that she loved online and found out where in VA it was available. She went there with Grandma, tried it on, and loved it!
My birthday was long-term subbing (5th grade at Yowell again!) and then watching Grant play baseball at Courtland. His friend Julianna came too, and I enjoyed chatting with her and her friends.
Another fun month.
