Fish Island

Victoria's latest project...

A geography project, can't you tell? She learned about islands and did a written report and then needed to do some sort of project. She had the idea to make and decorate a cake similar to Christian's last b-day cake. I wasn't sure if that would be ok, but she asked her teachers and they said yes. So, that's what she did. It was an island cake and she called it fish island. She made the cake. I only put it in the oven and pulled it out when it was done. I spread the icing, but she did all of the rest of the decorating! She did a good job making the island with graham cracker crumbs and put the props- umbrella, sign, towels, and palm tree really cute. She put the fish on in a neat pattern too. She did a great job and her class thought it was really cool to be able to eat her project!
