Country Roads

A clean up/ play day at the river with cousins. I got my mom flowers for the river house for Mothers Day and wanted to plant them. We really wanted to deep clean for them too. Lorel and her kids wanted to help too, so met us there. Cleaning was a little harder with the kids in and out, but they helped as they could or watched the younger kids outside too. V and Ella did  a lot of organizing. Lorel and I did most of the cleaning. Katherine and Eve did a great job gathering pinecones and planting flowers. Christian supervised G and Issac and Liam as they collected sticks and burned them. G, I, and E went to the island for a couple hours! After all the cleaning was done we took the youngest 3 to the island too. The thing to remember about that one was the girls wanted to try to hang onto the canoe the whole way back. They did a good job, but it made us slower and we were afraid to paddle fully because we would hit them. Lorel helped them climb back in for a cold wet ridde back. We had pizza from Rudy's before we left. It turned out to be a good day!

The school turned on the stadium lights for 20 minutes at 20:20 to honor the graduating seniors.
Katherine and Grant and I went with Danny. Ty came with his dad. The boys were glad to see each other and they all had a fun time jumping into the long jump pit. I took really funny slow motion videos of them. They were pretty good jumpers!

We had a strange drink the water before it overflows contest one night!

Katherine and Danny and I prepped and planted the square foot garden. We hope it will get enough sun to grow!

We continue to have church at home.
(They are looking up the hymns on the phones.)
