We raised 3 butterflies this spring. They started as catapillers and we loved watching their metamorphasis. We checked on them every day and fed them sugar water on flowers, fresh oranges, or fresh melons. When the weather was warm enough we released them.

Christian looked pretty happy watching them fly away!
This one stopped one last time before he left our yard. So long beautiful butterfly!
