The VHSL decided to allow sports again. The schools will do 3 abbreviated seasons for 6 weeks each. They will be out of order, but at least the kids won't miss out completely. Unfortunately, since V decided to graduate early she will not be able to cheer this year because she will no longer be in school. It was an unknown at the start of the year and a gamble that she was willing to take. Not going to lie, it is a loss for her and for us too. We are sad to miss out on the fun and events like Senior Nights that we have been looking forward to for years.
Christian is starting with Indoor Track and is so happy to be able to participate again. They don't have to wear masks in the outside races. Up to 100 spectators can attend outside. Still a little weird, but we are glad that it is happening!
