I had hoped to put a picture of our family in this frame at some point in the month, but it remained a lovely stranger child drinking, presumably hot chocolate.

And I wanted to share a December tradition to put a piece of hay in the manger each day that you do something special to help someone else.
We also read a scripture, sing a Christmas song, and read an inspiring story each(er, most) nights in December. A friend gave me this awesome book about 8 years ago and it has blessed our family each year. Danny, who is away from home most evenings(job and phd), got to read on Christmas Eve.
