VA Beach Campout

We were so thankful for spring break this year! It isn't visible in pictures, but Danny's year has been difficult. There is a trickle down effect too. He works hard with work and school. I work hard with parenting and housework and so forth.  We need the kids to pitch in a help more. We play hard in our family, but it requires a lot of work too.  Danny set aside most of the spring break to getting ahead on papers, but we made sure to have some family time too. So, we took two days to go to the beach- Mt. Trashmore, the aquarium, and camping at Settler's Landing State Park. We had a blast
flying kites, exploring and appreciating nature, making and eating good food, and just being together. We broke things, burned things, lost things too. But coming from me, those types of stories just seem hackneyed after a while. Same old. Same old. We are crazy, but we love our crazy! And you know what I heard, "families that camp together are families that stay together." We think that is true. Love camping with the fam. It is special time.
