Christian and Grant went to a birthday party for their friend, Caden. It was a really cool boy scout themed party and they had a blast. They hiked and played outside a lot. While outside, Grant found this baby turtle. My friend, Jessie, sent it home with Grant. He was a darling little specimen. We read about him and enjoyed watching him for the day. We worried that we didn't really know how to properly care for him though, so decided it would be best for the turtle to return home. Sorry, Sod kids, no pets.
We really did like him though and Grant loved him so much. I was very tempted to try to keep him. Dad's voice of reason, helped us to let go though. Turtles really are meant to live outside.
