Kindergarten Picnic

These pictures don't look much like a picnic, but we did picnic outside after we had a great program in Mrs. Grider's classroom. The kids were so cute singing.

Singing "Good morning, good morning, good morning to you!"

Showing us that they could count by 1's, 2's, 5's, or 10's while doing the "Macarena."

This is how V watches Mrs. Grider. She LOVES her!

Mrs. Grider with her chart for the next song. She is so organized. It is awesome!

"Is everybody happy? Yes, Maam! H-A-P-P-Y! Happy!"

And here is a little part of V's favorite song from school!

So, the singing was adorable. Then, Mrs Grider and the children said thanks to the parents. Each parent was given this cute picture in a custom frame. The moms who helped with stations were given this with the children's cute fingerprints and names. It was attached to a shovel and gardening gloves. So cute! And ... she gave Penny and I these hanging baskets for being room moms.

She's thanking us? REALLY? I couldn't have asked for a better teacher for V! She has been incredible! It did make me feel really special though.

It was a nice little end of the year program and the picnic was fun too. Then, we were allowed to bring V home from school a little early. Fun afternoon.
