The kids participated in a fun run at the Y. Danny wasn't able to attend, but the kids and I had a good time.
Christian ran!
and was pretty quick! He had a goal- to get to the trunk or treat!
V stayed with Grant the whole time. He had a bad cough at the time and wasn't up for running. She was really sweet to him and they enjoyed the hike through the woods together. There were several volunteers on the trail and lots of parents in there too, so it seemed pretty safe for me to take pictures and be on the outside to be able to keep an eye on all of the kids.
Christian was the first to get through with the trunk or treating. He was finished with the candy hunt before V and Grant were out of the woods! I felt pretty stretched as a mom!
V and Grant made it though and enjoyed the trunk or treat too! I was proud of all 3 kids for their happy participation! It was a fun event!
