May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month

We attended a CCHS softball game in honor of Reves Gillespie. He was Janice's, our friend and the coach's, late husband. Janice gave us t-shirts to wear and we wore gray for Brain Cancer Awareness month. We are more aware of brain tumors now than we ever have been. We hate that my dad is battling a nasty brain tumor. It has been really hard and we are hate to see he and my mom go through it.  We were glad to talk to others who have been affected by brain cancers and were glad to be able to make a small donation to cancer research when we attended the game.

I love that this family is teaching others about brain cancer and also encouraging acts of kindness. They definitely are good kind people and we are glad to get to know them
